This week is going to be hot!
- Friday and Saturday (February 22nd and 23rd): 30 Hour Famine! The 30 Hour Famine is an annual event put on by GeNESIS high school students and other various groups across the country. The famine exists to help out the community and allow young people to participate in a one-of-a-kind experience while raising awareness for starving kids in Africa. The famine doesn’t cost anything but any donations for World Vision will be accepted at the door.
- DETAILS: We will meet at the church at 5 p.m. on Friday night and continue to fast together until 7:00 p.m. Saturday night. It is your job to stop eating at 1 p.m. on Friday afternoon! Make sure to bring a sleeping stuff, a change of clothes for Saturday, any juice or non carbonated drinks you will drink for the famine weekend (no soda/pop or milk. There will be other drinks available for you there if you are unable to bring juice.) and a good attitude. For any or more questions you may have call Jordan Muck or Megan Jakel.
- Sunday Night (February 24th): Phat Sunday! Both groups (junior high and high school) will meet from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. at the church. Make sure you bring a friend, its going to be Phat!
See you this weekend!
